Viva Manhattan!

Robert and I will be out of the country July 26 until August 20th. We are going to sublet our apartment for $70 a night (a REALLY good price for NYC). 2 bedrooms one bath, full sized kitchen, and living area, AMAZING view of the George Washington Bridge and Hudson. It is just a few minute walk from the A/C and 1 train (which is just a 15 min. ride to central park, time square, ect.)

I am sure it will go fast, but I wanted to post it on the blog first because ideally we would love it to go to someone we know.

Upside: It is fully furnished with a queen sized bed, full sized futon and plenty of extra room for whatever (air mattresses). It would be a great situation for a family trip or whatever.

Downside: Although there is an amazing view, Washington Heights isn’t my favorite neighborhood in Manhattan. It is safe but it is located by Presbyterian Hospital. It is really close to all the main attractions on the subway but if the subways are running local it would take a little longer.

Mexico 2009

Somehow I convinced my parents to join me on one of my fanatical trips. All my life they have been supporting and funding (thanks daddy) all my trips but finally they partook of the greatness of it all. I could be wrong, but I don't think they will ever look back. Thanks for the best spring break yet!
The trip started with a birthday pick up from the airport........

Then we drove to Mexico to spend a week building an orphanage and spending time with the orphans.

And the trip ending with a sunset on the beach......

P.S.
So cute, it melted my heart. Julia insisted that I braided her hair because she thought that is "what you have to do" when you did humanitarian work. I guess it's because her big sister came home with crazy hairdos.

Robert's Spring Break

Although it wasn't sailing lessons in the Bahamas or hiking Machu Picchu (like his classmates) I am pretty sure Robert had a successful break! Here are some of his spring break endeavors.
Robert and his friend from school went to the David Letterman show! They had a few seconds of fame. They were front row so you could hear and see them throughout the show.

Robert was so sweet! Since he had the week off he made my commute with me everyday! I told him that I was NOT waking up with him at 5AM on my spring break but he insisted!

Robert had a conference in Philadelphia so we made a weekend out of it. I LOVED Phili. It was so clean and was rich with history. Robert especially loved the Rocky run!


Now it is my turn! My spring break started today. Celebrate!

Happy Birthday Week to the MOST AMAZING Girl

Well everyone-
I want to let you know that Lindsay is turning 25 on Easter Sunday (April 12). This post is to commence the birthday week celebration.

I am the luckiest man alive to be married to such an incredible person. Lindsay's smile says it all. She is full of love, energy, and happiness. She has made my life complete. Thank you, Lindsay, for who you are and what you do. You give more to us than I could ever imagine anyone giving to anything.

If you see Lindsay this week, let her know that you know she will be 25 on Easter. You could do this by winking, sending a text message, or any other gesture that is socially appropriate (perhaps posting a comment here).
