What a month! We spent most of it inside because of below zero temperatures and lots of snow. It's been a struggle to stay sane but we have learned to enjoy the beauty of lazy, unstructured days!

Blow a bubble in sub zero temperatures and you can shatter it. Also if you throw boiling water in the air it will evaporate. Oh and snow with vanilla and sugar is yummy!





Robert turned 30 this month!!!!!! We celebrated all day long! We are so blessed to have such an incredible guy in our life. He is such a hard worker with a heart of gold. He always always puts us first in life. I'm so happy to be married to my best friend.

Annie is hilarious! Her personality is shinning through. She so sweet and polite. Almost everything I do for her she says "thank you". She loves to cuddle and gives kisses. She usually has one had on my cheek. She loves loves loves to be around her friends. She is a climbing maniac. She is constantly pretending to talk on the phone and will talk to robert on his drive home from work. Her vocabulary is growing everyday. When we go places she wants to bring half her closet with us!

Robert and I agree that this was one of our favorite Christmases. Having Annie made us see Christmas through an 18-month old eyes which is a lot more magical. We couldn't get enough of Annie's "oh wow"s and "ho ho"s every time she saw lights and Santa.

St. Charles is adorable during the holidays. We enjoyed tasting some aged vinegar for my dad's Christmas gift.




I was worried that Annie would destroy all our nativity sets but after a few 'look but don't touch' discussions she was great! Annie loved feeding baby Jesus her gold fish.





Teaching Annie to pray has been heart melting. I catch her practicing throughout the day.





December was Robert's last month of nights. Huge accomplishment! We survived by doing dinner dates. This particular visit was my favorite by the time robert went back to work Annie managed to draw on his face, smear mustard on his shirt and spill a cup of water between his legs. I'm surprised we were invited back.











I took a picture before a girls night I hosted because my house was somewhat clean. I really love our cozy lil bungalow.
